I love how DC was bold enough to make the least popular and least well-known of their five human Green Lanterns a gay guy. That was so brave and forward thinking of them. And of course by making Alan Scott gay they’re negating the existence of his son Obsidian, so it’s not really creating a gay character so much as trading a long established gay character for a shiny new one. Way to strike a blow for diversity.
